Mindy D. Trinh, O.D.

Dr. Mindy Trinh, a graduate of Pennyslvania College of Optometry, developed an interest in optometry while an undergraduate at the University of California (Riverside campus) when her own vision became myopic. She believes in the importance of vision in improving our well being and performance in life. Dr. Trinh brings an international flavor to Evergreen Valley Optometry, having been born in Vietnam and through her participation in VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) and the LIONS' "Give the Gift of Sight" programs. She has traveled to underserved populations, such as Vietnam and Mexico, providing eye care and eyeglasses to people who never otherwise would have experienced the "gift of sight". Dr. Trinh is an active member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Associatin and the Santa Clara County Optometric Society. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tom, and son, Alan--the joys of her life. She also enjoys outdoor activities, travel and spending time with family and friends.

Working at Evergreen Valley Optometry has helped her grow and has given her the chance to, as her sister Noia would say, "Bloom where you're planted". Evergreen Valley Optometry is more than just a workplace to Landy and her co-workers are more than just fellow co-workers; this is her home away from home and they are her second family. Outside of the office she is a daughter, sister, best friend and a very proud aunty to the most amazing individual in the world! She loves spending quality time with her family and close friends.

She loves arts and crafts when she has the time for it; shopping and most importantly spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Sherrie

Sherrie is a busy San Jose State University student and is also our part time optician here at Evergreen Valley Optometry. She acquired an interest in optometry when everyone in her family started to wear glasses.
